This month’s speaker comes to us from the DuPage County Forest Preserve. The title of the presentation is Blanding’s Turtle:
What We are Doing to Protect an Illinois Endangered Species.

Discover the DuPage County Forest Preserve District’s work to help the state-endangered Blanding’s turtle. Hear about how the restoration of habitat supports this species, and learn about their partnership with other agencies to help this turtle recover in the greater Chicago area. Then, find out about how you can help the Blanding’s turtle, too!

Everyone is welcome to come to this meeting and learn about our club. Please note that the October & November meetings will be for Member of the club only.  The public is welcome to attend again in January.
