Twilight Tuesday at Kruse Garden
A chance for members to visit another member’s garden. Check your email for details.
Although Twilight Tuesdays are usually just for our Members, this event at the Kruse Garden is open to the public.
This Twilight Tuesday features our club-maintained garden which surrounds the Kruse House Museum at 527 Main St West Chicago, IL 60185. If you don’t know, while this garden was being restored in 1998 it inspired several local gardeners to revive our current day West Chicago Garden Club (which had been disbanded in the 70s).
We have created an evening of garden strolling with live music, light refreshments AND gardening information. Visit our Kruse gardeners throughout the garden to learn about Creating Food from your garden, Composting, Birds in our Gardens and Winter Sowing at Kruse.
(Tentative until Dan hears from the city) Parking at City Hall 475 Main Street, which is 3 driveways west of the garden. Come from 6:30pm – Dusk on Tuesday, July 14th. While Twilight Tuesdays are a benefit of membership to the garden club, please feel free to bring a guest to enjoy this evening at Kruse.
